Visit any of the forums to view the questions and answers that have been posted. If you wish to participate in a forum, you will have to register. It is free, very quick and will allow you to ask those unanswered questions you may have.


Rules of the Board

The purpose of this board is to allow individuals to share information concerning law enforcement employment. All postings should be in an effort to help one find, learn more about or obtain a police job. Comments about your current status in the hiring process are permissible as well as congratulating those who were offered a job. Any question that will help you decide what career path to take is acceptable. Questions about patch trading, equipment, etc. are inappropriate and will be deleted. All registered members agree to the following rules and terms of use.

Police Jobs Forums is not responsible for the content of any messages posted. All messages express the views of the author. We do not screen or review any messages before they appear on our site. If we are notified that erroneous information has been posted, we will attempt to verify the information and will remove it if it is found to be inaccurate. Police Jobs Forums has the right to remove any material which is obscene, hateful, threatening, abusive or a violation of any law.


Member Responsibility

1. Membership

You must be 16 years-of-age or older to register. English is the only language to be used on this job board.

2. Use the Correct Forum

We have made this job board very user friendly and easy to navigate so users can find the information they are looking for. Make sure your questions or comments are in the correct forum. Do not ask questions about the Secret Service in the FBI forum. Questions placed in the wrong forum will not be moved but will be deleted.

3. Ask Appropriate Questions

Before asking a question, please read or search through the threads to see if your question has already been asked and answered. Questions should be concise and to the point. Do not ask broad questions which may be difficult to answer because they are not specific and which may require a lengthy answer. Do not ask multiple questions in the same post. This can make it harder for readers to find your question and answer(s).

4. Inappropriate Content

Members are expected to express their views in a professional manner. Negative comments are permissible but you should explain your opinion and make your criticism constructive. The use of profanity will get you banned. You can express your views without swearing. Links to commercial websites are prohibited.

4. Screen Name

Only one screen name and image (avatar) per user. These may not be racist, vulgar or inappropriate in any way. Screen names and images must remain static and cannot change in any way. Images must be at least 20 x 20 pixels and no larger than 80 x 80.
